Marine community ecology

Work in the Sandin Lab addresses fundamental questions regarding the structure and functioning of marine communities. Like most ecologists, our team is fascinated by the biological diversity of ecosystems with a curiosity to understand how natural systems are organized. At the heart of these inquiries is a passion to watch ecology through time, to witness (and perhaps predict) patterns of ecosystem change.
